Everything is rendered and rebuilt directly in your browser, so your document is never uploaded anywhere.

Limitations

  • Files larger than 30 MB are not accepted, to avoid running out of browser memory
  • Thumbnail previews are shown for only the first 200 pages of a document
  • Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are not supported
  • Exporting many pages as separate files produces a correspondingly large ZIP

Frequently asked questions

Can I extract just a few specific pages instead of the whole document?
Yes. Every page starts checked, so uncheck the ones you don't want, or type a range like "1-3,5,8-10" into the page-range field and click "Apply range" to select exactly those pages in one step.
What's the difference between the two export options?
"One PDF with selected pages" combines everything you checked into a single new PDF, in their original order. "Separate PDF per page" instead creates an individual one-page PDF for every page you checked, and bundles all of them together into one ZIP file so you only download once.
Does splitting a PDF upload it anywhere?
No. The PDF is loaded, rendered, and split entirely in your browser using JavaScript. It's never sent to a server, so nothing about your document leaves your device.
Is there a limit on how many pages it can handle?
Files up to 30 MB are supported, and thumbnails are shown for up to the first 200 pages. Very large documents can still be split beyond that, but thumbnail previews stop after 200 pages to keep the tool responsive.
